The Client

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA) is responsible for ensuring financial stability, fostering a secure and integrated financial market, and implementing policies to regulate financial services within the European Union. Their work includes creating and implementing financial regulations, overseeing financial institutions, and promoting the development of a unified capital market across member states.

The Challenge

A blue arrow rising to represent the positive results indiepics's solutions provide.

DG FISMA often has to communicate about many complex topics to a wide range of stakeholders and target audiences and turned to indiepics for support.

The Process

We were tasked with creating a series of 15 visuals about a wide variety of different subjects such as the EU’s Payment Services Directive (PSD2). Pushed out via social media and email newsletter, we took a creative approach to these data visuals using stylish animation to ensure that they were both eye-catching and informative.

The Result

A heart symbol representing the high level of engagements indiepics's content receives.

Working to tight deadlines, we distilled these complex topics into cleverly simple and interesting animated visuals. We continually developed visually fresh and appealing ways of telling the stories behind the numbers that successfully engaged DG FISMA’s audiences.
